Now back for its 4th year, Munna Creek Country Music Walk Up Weekend is a popular 4-day country music open mic event. Held in a recently renovated historic hall in the beautiful Munna Creek countryside, the open mic event is renowned for its friendly, laid-back atmosphere.
Go on stage as a walk up artist and sing your favourite country music songs with a full backing band. You don’t need to be a seasoned performer. Our open mic is on offer to anyone who loves singing country music. Perform on stage in a fun, casual setting; with the support of a friendly audience. People who took the stage in previous years have said “it’s like singing and playing country music in a jam session among friends”.
Alternatively sit back and enjoy the great range of country music from both local and visiting talent. On offer will be original music and covers of classics you know and love.
Be sure not to miss the other activities included as part of entry to the Munna Creek Country Music Walk Up Weekend:
- Poet’s Breakfast (Friday and Saturday morning) – Get up early, grab some breakfast and listen to some bush poetry by Clarrie Weller
- Old Time Dance (Friday evening) – Take a walk down memory lane and dance the night away to all your old favourites
- Roy Garland’s Variety Concert (Saturday evening) – Get ready for plenty of laughs with comedy skits, jokes, singing and more.
